Where:

Description:
1st Little Gaddesden and West Herts District are doing a combined event. It is the St Georges Day Parade, which starts with a parade through Little Gaddesden and finishes with a church service. There will be a speech from Shaun McCarthy on scouting, other traditions such as saying the scout/cub/beaver promise, assigning any new standards as well as some hymns being sung in church. The main theme will be the blessing of the flags/standards of the respective troops as well as celebrating an important day - a day that many of the children may not know very much about. Shaun will be giving some information about St Georges day, so the children will get some useful learning in as well.
